Resolution Accomplished, Thanks to D&D Body Shop

Maybe, I am not the best person to maintain New Year’s resolutions and really see them through the entire year. This is why I make an effort to think of ones that I can easily fulfill. That way, I won’t get disappointed with myself, and I will not get swayed away from further self improvement through resolutions in the coming years.

This year, I have decided that my resolution would be to take better care of my car. I realized that after finally paying off my student loans, this car has been my first “adult” purchase, which of course, I am mighty proud of. This first car is one great testimony that some small-town kid can go to California and actually stand on her own two feet and lead a comfortable life. This car brings me to work and back to my place every day, and it takes me to wherever I need to go.  It serves me well, and I would really like to give my car its due importance. Taking care of things that I get a lot of use from is actually a great New Year’s resolution, right?

But really, despite getting a car, I am not at all what you might consider a “car person.” My knowledge of cars do not go beyond driving them, getting gas for them, and having them washed. So, I really need all the top help I can get to fulfill my resolution this New Year of taking care of my car. I have subscribed to the services of a great car center for regular check-ups and other mechanical things like oil changes, a place where I can have it cleaned without using too much water (I am a friend of the Earth that way), and thought that it would be the end of it.

That was until an officemate had his parked car bumped into by someone who did not even leave his or her number. We just saw the huge dent at the back of the car when we were already in the parking spaces. Asking my hapless officemate if he had insurance to cover the repair for that nasty dent, he said yes, but he would rather have this collision repair center on North Amphlett Blvd to take care of the damage. I have to admit, at the back of my mind, I was thinking, “Oh, come on, a dent and we have to go to a collision repair shop?  Isn’t that a bit too over-the-top?”

I don’t know, maybe he was reading my thoughts, but he told me to come with him to D&D Body Shop, that repair center on North Amphlett Blvd he was talking about. It doesn’t take much for simple-minded (when it comes to cars) me to be impressed, but I have to say this establishment is no ordinary body shop. This was a place with state-of-the-art equipment, housed in a spacious facility. To top it all off, the repair specialists talked to my officemate and I (well, they saw my car too) in A way that I somehow got the feeling they really knew what they were talking about. Later, with a bit of research, I found out that D&D Body Shop professionals have I-CAR Gold Certification, which means they have the training, skills, and up-to-date knowledge to repair any car, including my officemate’s Fiat and my Honda.

Yes, I have to say I am taking advantage of their expertise when the need arises. I believe D&D Body Shop is helping me fulfill my New Year’s resolution by lending me their expertise. Knowing D&D Body Shop has my (and my car’s) back, I can definitely say I have another New Year’s resolution success story under my belt.
