An Action-Packed Dilemma Solved, Thanks to D&D Body Shop

As a mother of three school children and a full-time employee, my car is practically my lifeline. Without my car, there is no way I could bring all my kids to school and get to work on time, and in the afternoon, run all my errands and get home early to prepare dinner and do some more chores. I’m definitely no superwoman, but I really try to be one. And just like any superhero with a dependable sidekick, I have my trusty sedan to rely on.

A rather scary event happened just weeks ago that made me think my days as a do-it-all mom with the help of my car have come to an end. I came home and was backing up to park my car in the front lawn when out of nowhere, a speeding car zoomed right in front of me. Everything happened so fast, but I distinctly remember hearing two shrill crashes in succession, like glass breaking. As soon as I parked the car properly, I got off and saw the damage – both of my headlights busted, and marked dents in my car’s front, lines of paint chipped. It was nothing too big, really, but the car sure looked sad. Besides, how can I possibly drive it with busted headlights? I wouldn’t dare court the possibility of being stopped by traffic police, so with a heavy heart, I went ahead and looked for a body shop.

My husband highly recommended this shop named D&D Body Shop in San Mateo. I admit, I am not really well-versed at all when it comes to car repair or anything like that – I only know how to drive my car! So, when I heard the name D&D Body Shop, I first thought it would be some repair shop that would only fix old vehicles. Believe me, there’s nothing ‘classic’ about my trusty sedan.

But was I so relieved I got D&D Body Shop to help me. They did exactly that, and more! They coordinated matters with my insurance company and promised me that the car will look as good as new once they’re done fixing it. The great technicians who worked on the car and the amazing front office ladies at D&D Body Shop gave me updates on what has been done to it.

When it was time for the car to be released, I went back to the collision repair center and I have to admit, I had to look at the vehicle many times before realizing it was the same reliable car I have driven for close to five years. It looked newer than the time I first drove it! When my family saw it when I went home, my kid actually asked if I had bought a new car.

I wouldn’t get that far, but I’m really glad D&D Body Shop made everything easier. The job they did exceeded my expectations of what their qualified and I-CAR Gold accredited technicians can do. But what really impressed me was the personal touch as they handled everything. They really went out of their way to make everything smooth and less traumatic. I can only say that for anyone looking for a premier place for collision repair, then D&D Body Shop is the place for you.

Takes the Blame, D&D Comes to the Rescue

Have you ever felt like you are the unluckiest person in the world because one bad thing after another keeps happening to you in such a rapid succession? When that happened to me, I thought there was just no way I could snap out of my bad fortune. Then, of all things, a car restoration center was able to turn my day around. Who would have thought of that?

My week started with a nagging from my alarm clock . Apparently, I’ve been hitting the snooze button that it was already 8:20 when I was supposed to hit the showers at 8:00, giving me enough time to drive back to university. Then, my car decided it will be on a holiday, so I have to borrow my mom’s spare car, which was finally lent to me after so much begging provided I return it the following week, when I come back with a laundry and a grocery list.

I arrived at school 40 minutes late, which meant I only had 20 minutes to answer an hour-long exam, the one I forgot to study for. By noontime, I was hoping for more good news when my girlfriend said she got accepted to a student exchange program which meant she was going to spend an entire semester in France. So much for consulting me and including me in that decision! Alas, when it was finally time to go home, I notice the entire left stretch of my mom’s car, from the bumper lights, through the two doors, and the headlight, had a huge, thick scratch, like somebody bunched up a number of keys and drew a wonky line across the car.

I was about to just give up and cry when the guy in the parking spot beside me called my attention. He saw my about-to-cry expression and handed me an address to D&D Body Shop in North Amplett Boulevard, San Mateo. I felt I have finished my quota of being a loser today that there would be nothing to lose if I bring my mom’s car to a body repair place. That will drain my savings but as opposed to being grounded or banned from using her car ever again, the better option was D&D.
Thank God for D&D! They were just pros in every sense of the word. I was kept on the loop on everything that occurred and every detail they did. Obviously, it felt like I was dealing with technicians who spoke Greek, but they did the best they can in telling me all that they have done to the car.

So, I was told that only the best equipment and facilities were used to make the car look better. The technicians who explained everything to me have I-CAR Gold certification, which apparently meant that it didn’t matter if my car was a worn-out jalopy, a sleek European ride, or a two-year old mid-size (which it was). They would be able to make it look like what happened did not happen.
Thank you, D&D Body Shop, the car was washed, detailed, and when everything was done, it not only lost that huge scratch, but it looked like it just came out of a showroom. They can do it all – detailing, windshield repair, minor and major repair, and more! The only thing I had to do now is attract more good luck and dirty up the car a little so my mom wouldn’t suspect anything!
