Takes the Blame, D&D Comes to the Rescue

Have you ever felt like you are the unluckiest person in the world because one bad thing after another keeps happening to you in such a rapid succession? When that happened to me, I thought there was just no way I could snap out of my bad fortune. Then, of all things, a car restoration center was able to turn my day around. Who would have thought of that?

My week started with a nagging from my alarm clock . Apparently, I’ve been hitting the snooze button that it was already 8:20 when I was supposed to hit the showers at 8:00, giving me enough time to drive back to university. Then, my car decided it will be on a holiday, so I have to borrow my mom’s spare car, which was finally lent to me after so much begging provided I return it the following week, when I come back with a laundry and a grocery list.

I arrived at school 40 minutes late, which meant I only had 20 minutes to answer an hour-long exam, the one I forgot to study for. By noontime, I was hoping for more good news when my girlfriend said she got accepted to a student exchange program which meant she was going to spend an entire semester in France. So much for consulting me and including me in that decision! Alas, when it was finally time to go home, I notice the entire left stretch of my mom’s car, from the bumper lights, through the two doors, and the headlight, had a huge, thick scratch, like somebody bunched up a number of keys and drew a wonky line across the car.

I was about to just give up and cry when the guy in the parking spot beside me called my attention. He saw my about-to-cry expression and handed me an address to D&D Body Shop in North Amplett Boulevard, San Mateo. I felt I have finished my quota of being a loser today that there would be nothing to lose if I bring my mom’s car to a body repair place. That will drain my savings but as opposed to being grounded or banned from using her car ever again, the better option was D&D.
Thank God for D&D! They were just pros in every sense of the word. I was kept on the loop on everything that occurred and every detail they did. Obviously, it felt like I was dealing with technicians who spoke Greek, but they did the best they can in telling me all that they have done to the car.

So, I was told that only the best equipment and facilities were used to make the car look better. The technicians who explained everything to me have I-CAR Gold certification, which apparently meant that it didn’t matter if my car was a worn-out jalopy, a sleek European ride, or a two-year old mid-size (which it was). They would be able to make it look like what happened did not happen.
Thank you, D&D Body Shop, the car was washed, detailed, and when everything was done, it not only lost that huge scratch, but it looked like it just came out of a showroom. They can do it all – detailing, windshield repair, minor and major repair, and more! The only thing I had to do now is attract more good luck and dirty up the car a little so my mom wouldn’t suspect anything!
